Signs of a Leaking Faucet
Dripping water
Easy to notice in busy rooms, but be sure to check less-used spaces too.
Rust or puddles
Look for water stains or pooling at the base of sinks, tubs, or showers.
Higher water bills
A sudden unexplained increase may be linked to a hidden leak.
Squeaky or stiff taps
Faucets that are noisy or difficult to turn off completely may be failing.
Musty or rotten smells
Odours may appear before you see visible signs of a leak.
Signs of a Leaking Toilet
Unusual noises
Bubbling or groaning sounds from the pipes near the toilet often point to a leak.
Water on the bathroom floor
Even small puddles around the toilet base or wall connection can signal a problem.
Uneven floors or tiles
Warping, bumps, or lifting tile may result from a slow leak over time.
Persistent odors
Mold, mildew, or sewer gas smells are often connected to hidden leaks.
Josh and Demula were outstanding. They worked quick and did the job right away. They were courteous, professional, and polite while still quick and effective.
We had another company (superior plumbing) come and didn't do any work but quotes 3x more and had continuous issues with. Yet this team came out right away and had everything completed same day no problem.
This team deserves a raise for sure!
Thanks again! Basement toilet backing up: Will and his Team Mate came to the house during the time they were scheduled. I had asked Will to first use the video scope to see where the clog was, and the condition of the drain pipe. He found the clog, and now I better understand this old house and the condition of the drains. Will also removed the blockage. Quick Work & Great Service! Thanks! Great experience with this company!
I was able to get a same day appointment!
The technician, Damola, arrived earlier than expected, which was great!
He was friendly, knowledgeable and did a good job quickly and efficiently.
He was friendly, professional and explained everything thoroughly.
I whole heartedly recommend! Will came after hours to our basement apartment because a water line burst leading to a large amount of water into our bedroom though the wall. He arrived quickly and with a smile on. He got the job done quickly as well, and kept us informed of what he was doing along the way. Super nice guy, would def recommend! We had a late night catastrophic water damage from a blown pipe that was deemed okay by Reliance Home Comfort๐คฅ๐คฆ. Thank God for Will.๐งโ๐ง He came by at 10:00 in the evening to fix the blown pipe that the other company didn't. ๐ง๐ง๐ฆ๐
If we had Will ๐งโ๐งThe first time, we would have had somebody competent troubleshooting our plumbing issue and listening to the client rather than a technician who just wants to move to the next job like we experienced with Reliance Home Comfort.๐คฅ๐
Will is the best! ๐งโ๐ง๐I hope we never have to see a plumber again but if we do, it has to be Will and Mr.Rooter Team!๐งโ๐ง๐งโ๐ง
Thanks again Will.๐ฏ

FAQs About Leaking Fixtures
Why is my faucet dripping?
Faucet leaks are usually caused by worn washers, seals, or internal parts that need replacement.
Can a small leak really raise my water bill?
Yes. Even a slow drip can waste hundreds of gallons of water each month, which quickly adds up on your bill.
What causes toilets to leak at the base?
Leaks often result from a worn-out wax ring seal, loose bolts, or cracks in the toilet itself.
Is a leaking pipe an emergency?
It depends on the severity. A steady drip wastes water and can cause damage over time, but a burst or spraying pipe requires immediate emergency service.
How can I prevent leaks in the future?
Schedule routine plumbing inspections, replace aging fixtures before they fail, and avoid over-tightening faucet handles or pipe fittings.
